about me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#0018197) with a private practice in Boulder, Colorado. I’m an Asian American from San Diego, California and a first-generation college student. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at San Diego State University and went on to receive my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles, California. I worked as a certified yoga instructor during this time, which led me to to my interests in the connection between mind and body. Some of my professional experiences include training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, University of Northern Colorado and Boulder Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapies.

I genuinely love this profession and find therapy to be both challenging and rewarding through attending therapy myself. I am passionate about learning and am consistently seeking out new ways to grow, both personally and professionally.

I currently live in the foothills of Boulder with my partner and two dogs, Bear and Sylvie. You will likely see Bear or Sylvie in sessions, as they are certified therapy dogs through Therapy Dog Alliance. When I am not working I spend my time hiking, practicing yoga, trying out new restaurants and cafes, reading, cooking or skiing. During additional free time I enjoy fostering dogs with a local rescue.
