“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity. It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity. If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path.”
– Brené Brown
Are you ready to make positive and meaningful changes in your life, whether that be in your relationship with yourself or your connections with others? Have you been feeling stuck in unhelpful behavioral and thought patterns that you find difficult to change? I understand that the prospect of therapy can feel exceptionally vulnerable and intimidating, but I also know from experience that it can be an invaluable and deeply fulfilling journey toward personal growth. I genuinely want to support you through this important process. Please take a moment to read below and explore the various services I provide to assist you on this path.
I approach therapy as a relatable human being with empathy, warmth and genuineness while working to maintain a balance between being supportive and challenging. My style is active, collaborative and inclusive of multicultural factors and I incorporate values of self-compassion, empowerment, resilience and nonjudgmental awareness. Typically the first session involves gathering information about what you’re struggling with, who you are as a human and past experiences in order to take a holistic approach. I primarily work with adults navigating through trauma, grief and relationship issues.
I have successfully completed the rigorous Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Training program offered by the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. As we navigate through the process of legalization of psilocybin-assisted therapy, which is expected to take place in late 2025, I encourage you to stay tuned for exciting offerings and developments. More detailed information will be coming your way soon!
I believe general human connection and relationships are essential in life and, therefore, it can feel overwhelming when an important relationship is met with disconnect, resentment and conflict. I want to support you and your partner in effectively rebuilding and reconnecting with each other. I have a certificate of completion in Level 2 Clinical Training and Treating Trauma in Gottman Method for Couples from the Gottman Institute. Sessions will be focused on emotions, skill building for managing conflict, developing skills to enhance connection and creating a system of shared meaning.
